Director of Revenue Operation/ RevOps Manager
Avantra is looking for a strategic and data-driven Revenue Operations (RevOps) Manager to orchestrate a seamless revenue engine across Marketing, Sales, and Customer Success, aligned to the MOVE framework. In this critical role, you will be instrumental in defining and optimizing our Ideal Customer Profile (ICP), streamlining end-to-end revenue processes, accelerating pipeline movement, and identifying key expansion opportunities. This role is ideal for an individual with a strong analytical mindset who thrives on building scalable revenue infrastructure in a high-growth SaaS environment.
Key Responsibilities
Market (Who should we market to?)
Partner with marketing and sales leadership to define and refine our Ideal Customer Profile (ICP) and buyer personas through data analysis and market research.
Develop and manage lead scoring and routing methodologies to ensure high-quality leads are efficiently passed to the sales team.
Analyze customer acquisition data to identify the most profitable market segments and channels.
Own the data integrity of our CRM and marketing automation platforms.
Operations (What do we need to operate effectively?)
Design, implement, and manage the end-to-end revenue process from lead to renewal, identifying and removing bottlenecks.
Administer and optimize the revenue tech stack (e.g., Salesforce, HubSpot, Marketo, Outreach).
Develop and maintain KPIs and dashboards to track funnel health and performance, delivering regular reports and insights to leadership.
Standardize Service Level Agreements (SLAs) between marketing, sales, and customer success teams.
Enable teams with training and documentation for process adoption.
Velocity (When can we scale?)
Analyze conversion rates and sales cycle stages to accelerate pipeline movement.
Build forecasting models to inform headcount and budget planning.
Collaborate with Finance on capacity plans and resource allocation.
Manage rules of engagement and territory planning.
Expansion (Where can we grow the most?)
Identify upsell/cross-sell and market expansion opportunities through data analysis.
Work with Customer Success to track health scores, Net Revenue Retention (NRR), and customer retention.
Recommend strategic growth initiatives based on customer and pipeline data.
Conduct win/loss analyses to surface learnings and growth levers.
Requirements
Experience: Proven experience in a Revenue Operations, Sales Operations, or Marketing Operations role, preferably within a SaaS or enterprise software company.
Data & Analytics Expertise: Strong analytical skills with the ability to translate data into actionable insights and strategic recommendations.
Tech Stack Proficiency: Hands-on experience administering and optimizing CRM (e.g., Salesforce, HubSpot) and marketing automation platforms.
Process Optimization: Demonstrated ability to design, implement, and improve end-to-end revenue processes.
Communication & Collaboration: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to partner effectively with cross-functional teams and leadership.
Forecasting & Reporting: Experience building forecasting models and developing comprehensive reports and dashboards.
